This is where American Sweeping comes in. We have been at the Santa-Cali-Gon Days Festival in Independence, Missouri since the word “go” on Friday (actually Thursday for portable toilet set up). We deployed our employees in droves all weekend long changing trash cans, dust panning and brooming the sidewalks, food areas, stage areas and beer gardens. We didn’t want the crowd to know that they were walking through one of the largest festivals in the country. Besides the crowds of course! The food and cups were in the trash can, event programs were managed and so on and so forth.
However, despite our best efforts the biggest challenge comes at the end of the weekend. Along with festival goers we have the vendors and food tents to pick up after. This is what we love to do. All hands on deck to swarm in and make the Independence Square shine! Our team of guys and gals take pride in a job well done. Especially Our managers Robert Felton and Steve Callahan, they run our cleaning division like a well planned out synchronized swimming routine. Making it look effortless (which honestly some days that’s not easy). We want to thank our crew for working their Labor Day weekend and finding fun in a job that others might not understand can be fun. From our yellow team cheers to chat breaks at the trailer we actually enjoy what we do. Happy Labor Day!
